pictures
i went out and bought a bunch of crap that i probably shouldn't have spent money on. well, some of it was needed.. like shampoo and conditioner, a new toothbrush head, mouthwash. josh is getting me back for the $30 bodhisattva sculpture i found at tj maxx. its clear and its carved, and it looks like its made out of ice. totally fucking awesome. it photographs well, too.
i also bought a 2-pack of polaroid pictures. when looking for a laptop case (or something comparable) my mom found my camera. i asked about it last week when i found out the film was going to be discontinued, so i wanted to have some fun with the camera while i still can. it's a polaroid one step close up. simple, easy. i don't think the little "macro" lens thing really works. man, its been ages since i've used a polaroid. i think i got the camera for my 7th or 8th birthday. i've used it here and there over the years, but its mostly untouched. it looks brand new, really.

polaroid 600 film is so expensive! a pack of 20 was $22. i want to stock up though. i think i'll be hitting the salvation army to see what other instant film cameras i can find that will hopefully be compatible with the fuji instant films.
now that the weather is getting nicer (slowly, bit by bit) i finally want to take my holga outside one sunny day.
